I just received my first (and last!) order from The Hungry Vegan this week. It took 4 days to arrive and it was a wet, sloppy mess! It was shipped Fed Ex Home Delivery which has no guarantee as to how long it takes to arrive. The web site states I would receive my order in 1 -2 days. The owner, Amy Townsend, has refunded my money, but refuses to admit fault in the shipping offered for her service and also has an attitude, commenting to me about her wasted time, energy, and money.

The food was in vacuum sealed bags that had excess plastic past the sealed area where there was bits of whatever food was poured in before being sealed and the desserts came unwrapped in paper type boxes and they were completely smashed and wet. By the time I received the food…it was at least 4 days old…probably 5 or more since I am sure it was not all prepared the same day it shipped.
