Turn Out For Earth Hour

Want to make a big impact this weekend? This Saturday at 8pm you could be part of a worldwide movement to call attention to and take a stand against global warming. And all you have to do is turn off the lights.

Last year, Earth Hour was launched in Sydney Australia. In that one city 2.2 million people turned off their lights for one hour, resulting in a 10.2% energy reduction. Imagine what can happen this year as Earth Hour takes off around the globe.

So this Saturday, be part of something big. Put the kids to bed. Grab your spouse. Switch off the lights. And do something you haven’t done in ages.

You know what I’m talking about….{{{WINK}}}

SLEEP!

    What a ridiculous response to a imaginary problem. Man has nothing to do with climate change and hundreds of scientists agree with me. I plan to turn on EXTRA lights between 8-9 p.m. on March 29th to offset you lunatics and your efforts. All of my friends and families plan to do the same, by the way. Global warming is a sham.

    How brave of you to post this anonymous and inflammatory comment. May I ask why you are even reading this site? Just looking for a fight?
    Please move on…

    Well, I think it’s a good idea. I just wish I’d known about it in time to participate. I work in customer service and if someone who wants to complain refuses to give their name and a way to contact them, we ignore them as a hoax. If they really mean it, they’ll stand behind their comments with their name.
