Celebrate Earth Day at the Green Festival
If you live in or around the Seattle area, you’ve just got to head over to the Green Festival this weekend. It’s a fantastic, family-friendly event that sure to get you and your kids excited about protecting the planet.
The Green Festival will have hundreds of exhibitors showing off the latest and greatest in green goods as well as a “Kids Zone” where kids can ride an energy cycle, enjoy a backyard safari, and earn prizes while they learn about what’s really in their fast food.
The festival schedule also includes some fantastic speakers and panels (if I do say so myself), covering every environmental issue you can think of…from “The Ugly Side of the Beauty Industry,” to “Run For One Planet.” Don’t forget to check out The Green Parent’s Jenn Savedge (that’s me!) presenting “Green Parenting: Raising Children Without Trashing The Planet,” on Sat April 12th at 11am in Room 4 or stop by to see my at Kedzie Press’ exhibitors booth #623.
Can’t make the festival? Stop by and see Jenn at the Westlake Whole Foods Market on Sun April 13th from 2-3:00 pm and you may just win some awesome eco-swag! See you there!
