The organization is currently accepting nominations for this year’s Richard C. Bartlett Environmental Education Award which will be awarded to one lucky teacher, along with $5000, at the North American Association for Environmental Education Conference in Wichita, Kansas in October. The award is open to any 5th-12th grade teacher who consistently works to bring environmental education into the classroom. Teachers must have at least 3 years of experience in public, private, or home school education to be eligible. The deadline for nominations is June 30, 2008…so don’t delay.
