I consider myself extremely fortunate that my girls are still a bit young for the whole Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana obsession that affects many of today’s kids. In the past, my only brush with the teen mega-star was my post regarding the lead-lined backpacks and wallets bearing her image. But today I want to offer up my sincere thanks to the Queen of Tweens. Miley Cyrus’ new song, “Wake Up America” is an eco-anthem for the planet. And if it challenges even one kid (or their parents) to change their tune about the planet, then I will happily salute her.
