I know we shouldn’t ‘judge a book by its cover’, but I really love the cover art!
I could use the inspiration & would love to pass it on to others.
Enjoying your site. Thanks. John
Sounds like a great book!! Can’t wait to see what everyone else is saying!
Sounds like a great one!
Cool contest – thanks for running it!
I’m reading this right now! I love that it opens with my hero, Mr Henry David Thoreau. But I would love to have my own copy after the library reclaims this one.
I hope I win this one! I’m a school librarian and teachers often ask me to read-aloud to their classes so I’ll have a chance to educate them about our environment at the same time!
Would love to win it! Seems like a perfect book to open up as fall comes around.

This sounds like a great book! I was out enjoying nature this afternoon, thinking how wonderful it is to have such green gloriousness in our city’s backyard. So good to read and be inspired to keep it that way.
The eagle keeps coming up around me everywhere, love this book cover. It would be an honor to win American Earth and add it to my library. Thanks for your generosity ;~)
Thanks for the Big Green Purse shout out!
This would make a great addition to the “Homeschooling Library” that we are building for our daughter!

hope you had a nice family dinner tonight.
Looks like a great book!
Very, very cool. Had to look the book up on amazon and am utterly convinced that if I’m not one of the lucky ones to get it, a local retailer that’s carrying it will get a sale very quickly.
Such a good article. Good job
