Will President-Elect Obama Head to Poland?
Have you been reading the news? The newspapers are filled with articles wondering what Obama’s first steps will be as President-elect.
A few days ago, I posted Bill McKibben‘s letter to the upcoming President, urging him to get his presidency started on the right foot by attending the UN Climate Meetings in Poland that will be held in December.
Now it’s our turn. If we can fill papers around the world with “letters to the editor” inviting Obama to attend the these meetings, it will show him, and the world that the U.S. is ready to get serious about climate change.

Dear Mr. Obama
How am I suppose to have concern for the auto workers who are making $45.-$75. pre. hour when I am a disabled firefighter currently making roughly $1300. a month, after 22 years of service to my fellow man. We all know that the firefighters go to work every shift not knowing if they will go home. Even as an active firefighter our wages were nowhere close to the guy who puts a tire on a car for $45.-$75. an hour. What is wrong with the wage structure in this country, when the president of our local hospital makes more than the president of our country. Does any of this make any sence. I am also a retired national guard member and will not be able to recieve any money from this until I am 61. Our country is being ran by rich folks who have no idea and no concept of living on $1300 a month. Try it for a month.

My husband lost his job in September. He gets $300.00 a week unemployment. I make $32,000 a year. The auto workers make a great deal of money and now they get health insurance and extra unemployment when they get laid off. Why don’t they try living like the rest of us. I am so sick of the government bailing companies out. If they gave every citizen the money that they are bailing companies out with we would all be ok.
Dear Mr. Obama,
I am concerned with the Stimulus checks that are coming again. My daughter is on Supplemental Security and doen’t receive any monies even though she is part of our community. Also I think for those people that are behind in there taxes should receive monies. What since does it make for IRS to give monies and take it back for credits on a owed bill.
If the government would give every american a million dollars it still would be cheaper that bailing companies out all over our country.
How can you stop AIG from giving bonuses to their top execs?
They announced they will give a minimun of $92,000 bonus to execs who earn over $165,000/year.
And the everyday Grunt workers who keep the company going, will get ? Probably fired.
And Congress wants to continue GIVING bail out money, my money? Ask me first!
Dear Obama, I am a ten year old kid and i watched the election all the way through didn’t miss one thing. I wish i could meet you in person that would be the best day in my life. I know you will do great things for our country.

You are for peoples right to work are you? Then are you for harassment of government to peoples right to work? I want to know why a good holistic Registered Nurse who has been working for 30 years as a nurse can be so harassed because of a flyer a friend hung up that as a holistic RN I can help people relieve pain with a FDA listed machine I am researching called the Infratonic 8. The companies has no idea why the government wants to harass me and make me pay high fees when they say no one has ever had a problem saying this FDA listed safe vibrational air massage coming out of a handle does help people with pain. I have had to spend 5000 so far and they threaten to take my license. My only means of work from me and now I am facing bankruptcy. Can you do anything to help me as I am not a rich person and can hardly pay my bills. I raised 2 children alone and got them through college and now the board wants to because I over help to people and I did not even get any response other than a response to pay fees for offenses that I did not do. I did not even hang the flyer. The lawyers just take money. No one is helping me. Do you want them to make me unable to work? I have done nothing wrong. Will you allow the government to hurt honest hard working people who have very little as it is?

hello, i’m writing this in hope to get some help for someone who is very close to me,
you see my dear friend’s ex husband is a dead beat dad,she divorced him in 2000, not long after he walked out on her and 4 children, he cheated on her all the years they were married, he never helped her in any way to care for them,she got the divorce, but didn’t get nothing , in the divorce, it stated he would pay the house payments and the taxes on it, he never payed nothing, didn’t pay child support , he oues her around$22,000 or more in child support, and when she took him to court, the lady judge just slapped his hands, so she [the mother] has been struggling since the divorce, she has 3 of her children still with her and her oldest has a baby too, so there are 7 in the house, she has had a very hard time through the years and her house has been on forcloser several times, her children have been through alot, and while he had the 4 children for 3,or 4 months, 2 girls were molested and all of them were abused, and the father is living like a king, has everything, suppose to be disabled, but works full time everyday, does drugs also has his son living with him who also is on drugs, he also collects taxes on the 4 children every year, but he don’t have them with him or he don’t even take care of them, never has, his lawyer made out all the papers on the divorce, the mother didn’t get a chance to get a lawyer of her own, the father is a cheat, lier, lies, and get away with everything, the mother and the 3 fids she has living with her have to go without, and their holidays aren’t very good, but the children don’t say nothing, they try to help their mom, the father even clames the children for the stimulas pkg, so the mother and children have to go without again,
what i want to know is this, your the only one that can help , this woman and her children,she would like to get the back child support, and all the back house and tax payments fron the father,she wants to own everything he has, and thats , a new truck, 4-wheelers , harley-davison motorcycle, and anything else he ownes, its no more then fair, cause her and the children went through so much,would like you to send me your answer by my e-mail plz,this man needs to be punished now, hes a good actor, as he puts on alot of his disabilities, he works every day,and lies to everyone about himself, so pplz mr obama, will you help this woman and her children? we have alot of faith and know you will halp them, your a very good person, and will be a great president, may god bless you and your familey,

I have tried to discover how to get a message to President-Elect Obama. This is a very important and serious matter.
