Teresa Berger, Maryland's Green Parent

Born and raised in Maryland, Teresa Berger is a momapreneur and lead visionary for www.weeBgreen.com, an online boutique specializing in locally and regionally handmade and earth-friendlier products for wee ones and parents. Since becoming a mother, Teresa’s interest in the environment and living an earth-friendlier life has grown. She feels it’s important to instill a love of nature, life and earth-friendliness in her child. As a mother, Teresa knows first-hand the challenges parents face when looking for safe, fun products for their children. And she also knows it can be tough to find events and activities that help foster an understanding of what it means to be earth-friendlier. As a green parent, she hopes to help make it easier to be an earth-friendlier parent.  Here are Maryland Green Parent Teresa Berger’s tips for going green in the Old Line State.

  1. Swetha Nayak says:

Mayor John Tonello said the LED lights will save the city 60 to 80 percent in electric bills. The city has been experimenting with different LED lights for municipal use and street lights. They will also emit a more natural illumination Color: LEDs can emit light of an intended color without the use of the color filters that traditional lighting methods require. This is more efficient and can lower initial costs. Ask your city official to do the same.
