It has been found that there are many natural remedies to help calm the symptoms of eczema. One of the most popular ones is Aloe Vera. Aloe is awesome for the skin and will help you to feel much better.

I think Johnson and Johnson's products are pretty safe, and I believe the letter they wrote was genuine. I have used their products for years and never had any issues.. nor have I heard about any issues being reported from carcinogens in their bathwash.

If you are looking for safe products for your whole family, these are some reasons you might want to check us out, we are the next big thing in all natural body care,

www.destinyboutique.com:

1)	Mom owned and operated business with the mission to make safe all natural products for the entire family. We make fresh and natural body care natural products that are absolutely free and liberated of parabens, mineral oils, petroleum, irradiated or genetically modified ingredients, herbicide or pesticide residues, and sodium lauryl sulphate. We do not use any ingredients we consider potentially dangerous, anything which contains known carcinogens such as 1,4 dioxane, phthalates, or formaldehyde. We never add unnecessary or cheap "filler" ingredients to our products.

2)	All of our products receive excellent safety ratings from Skin Deep with perfect company compliance.

3)	As Signers of Safe Cosmetics since 2007, we diligently list each and every ingredient. There are no proprietary ingredients. It’s your right to know as a consumer what goes into your body. We try our best to make you pay attention to the ingredients. Even our trademark slogan “manifest your own destiny, and always read the cosmetic label” is meant to emphasis the importance of being aware of the ingredients used the make the product. The ingredients are everything, not the way the bottle looks like or what the marketing image says. We only use premium botanical ingredients and make sure they are wildcrafted and pesticide free.

4)	PETA cruelty free company, never tested on animals, other than family and friends. We source our raw materials with care and are determined to make all our products from scratch using the purest ingredients that contain no animal testing (CaringConsumer.org)

5)	Fueled by eco passion, we hope that our decision to use recycled wildflower seed label paper that can be planted for wildflowers and other earth friendly business decisions in packaging and manufacturing will make Destiny Boutique part of a community that is more respectful, sustainable, and environmentally responsible. Our packaging is not flashy, it is practical, reusable, made from recycled materials when possible, recyclable and functional. All of our products are 100% biodegradable.

6)	We are in the process of setting up a cosmetic manufacturing facility in Oceanside, California to better serve the existing internet customers and local health food stores in San Diego area with plans to expand to national health food chains. We are a small business today, but as we expand we will need employees, which is great for our local economy. Products are handcrafted in small batches as needed to assure freshness and quality.

7)	We use certified organic, fair traded argan oil from Morroco in pretty much everything. Destiny Boutique is one of the first companies in the United States that base the entire line on argan oil from Morrocco. Argan oil, known as the liquid gold, comes from the Argan tree and is one of the rarest and the most expensive oils in the world. Europeans discovered the benefits of argan oil in the late 1990’s while traveling to Morrocco. Argan oil contains more antioxidants that protect against free radicals, the main cause of cell damage and aging, than any other natural oil. Argan oil can be found in most high end cosmetics in Europe. Buying argan oil from us, in the end, enables to put Morrocon Berber women kids to school, and since our oil comes from UNESCO protected area, you will be preserving argan forests for the future generations and also helping to prevent desertification.

8)	Our formulator is PhD Chemist, our products are exceptional, they perform great and are backed with raving customer reviews.

9) We do fundraising with local school and other non-profits. We support the Kid Safe Chemicals Act. We try to do the right thing in life.

10) We are only happy if you are happy. If you have questions, we provide straight answers. No green washing here.

I started this company after I experienced the unbelievable difference a homemade batch of all natural lavender soap had on my skin. I’ve had eczema ever since a 5 year old and suffered from rashes throughout my life. Immediately after the first shower with our lavender soap, my skin was exceptionally soft. To me it is a small miracle that that today I do not need to use any other lotions other than sunblock and of course argan oil for anti-aging. My skin used to be extremely dry and it almost hurt after shower if I did not reach out for the lotion bottle right away. All my skin rashes have disappeared since I switched from mainstream commercial synthetic products to our own natural body care products. I spent year and a half researching natural therapies and remedies with my fiancee PhD Chemist. I have learned a lot of things, mostly importantly that when you make soap glycerin happens. We leave the glycerin remain in the soap, and as a result the soap will actually moisturize your skin, not dry it out. Some larger companies remove the naturally occurring glycerin to sell it to the lotion industry to make more money. Honestly, after a while using our type of soap, you can pretty much toss away your lotion bottles. Besides a line of handcrafted specialty soaps, we have formulated an entire line of all natural body care products to further help my condition and others with sensitivities to the synthetic ingredients found in the most mainstream products. So, if you looking for a company with the best of intentions to make the safest products around for your family, shop with us www.destinyboutique.com. We do everything we can to make you a customer for life.

Sorry this is such a blatant ad of our company, but if you are looking for an alternative to huge companies who actually care about the ingredients that go into making the products, we are it.

This article is one of the reason I became an Independent Consultant for a company called Chartreuse. Chartreuse offers a selective array of products that will help you on your path to going green such as our chic shopping bags, organic personal care products, and hip recycled paper products.
Please go and check out my website...www.chartreuseearth.com. We just came out with a line of organic baby products that do not have ANY chemicals in them and we disclose ALL of our ingredients. I have a 19 month old and I LOVE the products for him (and me!!!). I have not found any baby products that work as well as these.
We just won an ECO Award from Diable Magazine in the San Francisco area. Check out the article http://www.diablomag.com/Diablo-Magazine/April-2009/Diablo-Eco-Awards/.
Please let me know if you have any questions my email is stephanierdoan@gmail.com. I am happy to answer (or try to!) any questions or comments.

I don't understand why it's so hard for companies to make chemical-free products. A large, well-known company like J&J could really set the bar for others if they just made the effort. Imagine what would happen if they did.

Not sure I'm happy I read that. Not sure it does any good to say anything to big power houses as that, but it is good that you did. The word "trace" disturbed me in their response.

I'm not educated on their products, since I just stick with California Baby. I'd have to research more to know what it is that you were questioning.

At face value, it seems to be a bit like BPA in baby bottles...if you know what I mean..
